Postdocs of Cambridge (PdOC)

Postdocs Of Cambridge (PdOC) is the Cambridge University Society for postdoctoral research staff and Junior Research Fellows (JRFs). PdOC represents postdocs in career development, contract research conditions, college affiliation, and social and sporting issues. All Cambridge postdocs are welcome to join, and there is no membership fee.

The PdOC website aims to provide useful resources on career development, seminars, workshops, sports clubs and social events.

12 Sep 2009: Vitae Research Staff Conference, November 2009.

Vitae are organising their first national research staff conference to be held in London on 5 November 2009. The conference is open to all members of research staff in higher education. In particular the conference is designed for researchers who can represent a wide range of different institutions and subjects. Members of local research staff networks, UCU activists or co-ordinators of subject based networks are encouraged to attend and then subsequently engage their own networks. Places on the event are free, though participants will need to cover their own travel costs.
