 | Dear all,
The Cambridge University Mexican Society is delighted to invite you to the
professional performance TRES VIDAS: A music theatre work.
TRES VIDAS is an evening-length work for singing actress and chamber music
trio based on the lives of three legendary Latin American women: Mexican
painter Frida Kahlo, Salvadoran peasant activist Rufina Amaya and
Argentinean poet Alfonsina Storni.
This is a very nice spectacle that cannot be seen very often in Cambridge
because of its nature.
Written by Marjorie Agosin and directed by Matthew Wright, TRES VIDAS is
performed by the Core Ensemble (a group from the US): Tahirah Whittington, cello, Hugh
Hinton, piano and Michael Parola, percussion along with featured actress
Georgina Corbo.
