"The frictions and fictions of family and friends in one evening of six people. He is better (she explained) because he laughs better. I nodded empathetically with my hand in her knickers and hope in my heart. The temping jobs and attempting throbs of trying to sleep with my best friend's 17 year old sister, a year after I thought my life would begin."

Wanting to Laugh Best, winner of the prestigious Marlowe/RSC 'Other Prize' for new writing, premiers at the ADC Theatre having recently been workshopped by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
