A showcase of site-specific performances around Cambridge

ex-site is CUCDW's exciting new performance project, taking dance out of traditional theatre spaces and bringing it into the public arena. Live performances will take place at scheduled times on the 12th and 13th June, in a range of locations around Cambridge.

In addition to these live performances, each piece will also be filmed to create a separate work as part of a related, but independent project. Films will be shown at college venues in June, and at the Arts Theatre in July.

ex-site will explore how new performance spaces change the way the body moves and the audience perceives; how dance can be related to the environment around it, and how film can transform one creative work into another. Come and be part of a new dance experience!
