Emily Curtis-Harper, Show Producer ec399

As Show Producer of 'Inspired', I am really excited to get some new and unseen talent involved as much as possible in the creative and performance experience. My motives are to create an all inclusive show of high technical and creative quality. I have a lot of experience in choreography and performance, but this is my first major experience of production. I have high hopes that the show will be as entertaining and inspiring as previous shows have been. I trained in dance at the London Contemporary Dance school where I had frequent contact with Richard Alston dancers as well as other contemporary companies such as Matthew Bourne's and Henri Oguike's. I was also a member of the contemporary dance company, Shift, who toured the country, performing in all sort's of venues and environments. This was all a great deal of fun to me, but I am equally enthused by the challenge that awaits me in creating this show.

Anna Gromada, Secretary ag594

I'm a great lover of contemporary which I see as a particularly mature and interpretative technique - one which is about combining team work and physical effort with the most powerful component of dance: creativity and imagination.

Vanda Ho, Treasurer vh269

Heya! I'm Vanda, your treasurer and second year medic. I done ballet ages ago, but the dancing bug just keeps coming back to bite me, so here I am. It's really great fun, and the there is a large range of standards in nearly every class, so there's no need to feel shy/inferior - just look out for me and you'd suddenly feel tonnes better about yourself! XD However, please do pay up, or you'll have me gunning you down with my trusty guitar!

Yinyin Yuan, Webmaster yy341

Yinyin is keen to try out a range of styles in dancing. As a junior fellow at Wolfson, she aims at promoting dancing activities in the college, particularly for international students.

Clare: Kaham - kaham hai? Clare Parfitt, Foundress

As the first president of CUCDW, Clare got to be general omnipotent overlord and dictator. More specifically, she got to meet with important people to discuss the the strategy for dance in the Cambridgeshire area. Her chief aspiration for this society was to set up a system by which the many resources for contemporary dance in Cambridge could be accessible to everyone. We think she did a grand job. :-)
