Diving equipment
CUUEG maintains its own store of equipment for use in pool training
and for hire by members to use on branch dives. This means people
can dive with us without having to commit to buying all their
own (expensive) equipment. The only items of kit that an individual
needs to own are a mask, wetboots and fins (although we do have
some for hire). |

Club kit
The following items are available from the club:
regs - cylinders - stage regs - stage

timers - compasses - weights - weight
belts - dive bags - reels - spools - DSMBs - SMBs - suits - masks - fins - snorkels - and

Basic Equipment Guidelines
For advice on what to look for when buying personal kit, take
a look at our Basic Equipment Guidelines.
Items can also be hired from the club. The club's kit is looked
after by the Equipment
Officer. |
Air cylinders
Cylinders are filled with air using the compressor facilities
in Chesterton Community College. The compressor is owned and
maintained by the Cambridge
240 branch. If you are interested in helping with cylinder
runs and/or becoming a compressor operator for the club, get
in touch with the Air
Officer. |
Nitrox
CUUEG has the oxygen and equipment to allow qualified gas blenders
to mix nitrox for use by qualified divers. |
