How to Become a Member

Como Asociarse

Membership is open to anybody, also non-students and non-Spanish speakers! You don't have to be a member of Cambridge University or ARU. Neither be able to speak Spanish since all our events are bilingual, but if you want you will surely learn some while enjoying Cambridge the Hispanic way with us!

If you would like to join the society you can pay:

In cash at any of our events, just come and find Horacio or another Committee member anytime or
Sending a cheque to our Vice-President Jesus Aguirre-Hernandez via the FREE University Mailing Service (UMS), CUSU-MS (ex ICMS) or normal post to Veterinary Medicine, Madingley Road, Cambridge CB3 0ES , payable to CU Hispanic Society. Please write your name, College (or Department or address if not in University) and email address on a piece of paper or on the back of the cheque.

* It's just 9 GBPounds for year membership and 17 for life membership *

If you are a member you get in for free to most events and at a heavily subsidised rate to the rest! You will also be supporting our constitutional aims:

to promote interest in the life and culture of the Spanish speaking countries
to encourage the learning and teaching of the Spanish language
to create awareness of social Hispanic issues

In order to achieve a better understanding for everybody of a different cultures, aiming to eradicate fear of diversity, which is a cause of social tension, and therefore to create a better place for everybody to interact.

Todos pueden asociarse, tambien no-estudiantes y no-Hispano hablantes! No tienes que ser parte de la Universidad de Cambridge o ARU. Tampoco saber hablar Español porque todos nuestros eventos son bilingües, pero si quieres seguramente aprenderas algo mientras disfrutas Cambridge con nuestra onda Hispánica!

Por favor escribe tu nombre, Colegio (o Departamento o dirección si no estas en la Universidad) y tambien tu dirección de correo electrónico en un papel o detras del cheque.

Si sos socia/o entras gratis a la mayoria de nuestros eventos y a un precio muy reducido a los demas! Tambien vas a estar apoyando nuestros objetivos constitucionales:

promover interes en la vida y cultura de los paises de habla hispana
animar el aprendedizaje y enseñanza de la lengua Castellana
crear conciencia sobre cuestiones sociales Hispánicas

Para conseguir un mayor entendimiento para todos de culturas diferentes, tratando de erradicar el miedo a lo diverso, que causa tension social, y por ende crear un mejor lugar para que todos podamos interactuar.
